Box Girder Piling Fabrications
Box Girder H-Column Piling Fabrications

Our Box Girder Steel Pilings are fabricated with Evergreen Scale Models Styrene Shapes, in sizes that closely represent the prototype materials used, and which are included with each kit as appropriate for the style specified.

Measurements: Single Track assemblies are 11 feet, 16 feet and 23 feet tall. Double Track Pilings (Tubular and H--column) are 9 feet (shown above) and 12.5 feet tall in HO scale.

Piling fabrications are not available separately.

Box Girder Piling Castings
Box Girder Round Steel Pilings

At left, our original tubular steel pilings in three sizes: 9.5 feet, 14 feet and 19.5 feet tall in HO scale. They are cast in pewter and are very stout.

These pilings were used on many bridge installations across the Santa Fe system.

Piling castings are included in our kits as specified by the customer and are not available separately.

Square Concrete Pilings with Heavier Caps are available for our Box Girder line. Based on bridges in several East Coast states, this combination creates a more massive appearance. Pilings available: From 1 to 4 inches tall! Our standard pricing still applies, too. Single Track/per section cost is $10.00, Double Track/per section cost is $20.00. Shown: 5-span, Single Track - $50.00.
Box Girder/Square Concrete Pilings
This bridge is shown with 1-inch and 2-inch (tall) Square Concrete Pilings. Some CSX bridges use these pilings in sets of three, instead of four. You can easily do that with these pilings, too! The prototypes are used when standing water is always present, including rivers, lakes and coastal areas.
