Bridge Abutment BA-1 is cast with authentic board-formed surface detail and follows typical prototype practice. Made to fit the 50-foot Deck Plate Girder by Micro Engineering. $10 each.

Bridge Abutment BA-2 is cast with authentic board-formed surface detail and follows typical prototype practice. Made to fit the 72-foot Through-Plate-Girder by Central Valley. $20 per pair.

Bridge Abutment BA-3 is specifically designed to support the BLMA Through-Truss bridges and is based on an actual prototype abutment on UP's LA&SL route through Afton Canyon, CA. Also will work with Walthers single track through-truss. Made to represent a rough concrete surface texture, these abutments weigh in at nearly one-and-a-half pounds. $15 each.

Bridge Abutment BA-3 and BA-3N, our first product in N Scale! With nearly identical proportions to our HO scale model, the BA-3N Abutments will be sold in pairs for $15.

For this model, code 55 flex track was used. Enough track ties were removed to allow the bare rails to be fastened to the CV bridge ties. This allows the rail joints to be located well off each end of the bridge and out of view.

The Central Valley N scale bridge may be raised to better fit the abutment by adding shims of 0.040" x 0.156" styrene strip under each bridge shoe.
